Before registering your child, we invite you to visit the nursery for a personal tour. This is an opportunity to look around our setting, meet our team and ask any questions you may have about our nursery, routines and approach.

Fee Schedule
Joyful Star Nursery is open for 49 weeks of the year, closing on bank holidays, one week during Christmas, two weeks during the school summer holidays and three inset days. Nursery fees are spread evenly across 12 monthly payments to create a consistent monthly fee.
Our fees include all meals, snacks and drinks which are prepared onsite. Nappies and wipes are to be provided by the parent/carer.
Additional Information
- The nursery operates a minimum booking requirement of 2 full days or 3 half days per week.
- Invoices are issued monthly in advance, usually during the last week of each month.
- Upon joining the nursery, a deposit equivalent to two weeks' fees will be added to your first invoice.
- Payment is due by the 1st of every month and can be made via bank transfer (details will be provided on your invoice).
- Nursery fees are reviewed each year in line with changes to operational costs.
Offers & discounts
Sibling Discount
We offer a 5% sibling discount on the eldest child's private childcare fees where both children attend at least 3 full days per week.
Recommend a Friend
Recommend Joyful Star Nursery to a friend or family member and, if they enrol their child with us for at least 3 full days, you'll receive a £50 credit towards your nursery fees once their child has started and completed their first month with us.
Discounts apply to private childcare fees only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers. Joyful Star Nursery reserves the right to amend or withdraw these offers at any time.
Early Education Funding
The government have created a scheme called the Free Early Education Entitlement which offers children between the ages of 9 months to 4 up to 30 hours of funded childcare.
Eligible children may be entitled to government-funded early education and childcare, depending on their age and their family’s circumstances. Eligible working parents can access up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week from 9 months to school age for 38 weeks of the year. Some 2-year-olds who meet specific eligibility criteria may be entitled to 15 hours of funded early education per week, while all eligible 3- and 4-year-olds are entitled to 15 hours per week. Funding eligibility is determined by the government and/or local authority, and parents may need to apply for an eligibility code.
